IAEE-DC Winter Community Clothes & Food Drive - Winter 2021
Help those in need in our local community by donating much needed winter clothes and food items to United Community. Together, we can achieve IAEE DC Chapter's goal of 1,000 donated items delivered by February 20th! Read more to learn how you can donate to help the underserved population in Fairfax County.
There are several ways you can donate to United Community's participants:
I. Drop off new winter clothes and non-perishable food items at IAEE DC Chapter Chair Donna Jarvis Miller's house from now through Friday, February 19th. Drop-off address is 7593 Grey Goose Way, Alexandria, VA
II. Go to MyRegistry.com IAEE DC Chapter site to purchase needed winter clothing and food items. The site is already set up with Donna Jarvis Miller's address for shipping. Please make sure items arrive no later than February 19th. CLICK HERE to complete your purchases. You can also make a cash donation through the site.
III. Drop off new winter clothes and non-perishable food items at United Community on Saturday, February 20th from 10am to 12pm only. Drop-off address is 7511 Fordson Road, Alexandria, VA
Donation items needed:
Winter Clothes: Accepting NEW clothing items only. All sizes of jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and other winter clothing and accessories.
Food: Non-perishable items only and NO glass. Items can include:
- Peanut butter
- Cooking oil (vegetable, canola, etc.)
- Pancake Mix
- Canned Vegetables – corn, peas, potatoes, carrots, etc.
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce (canned to avoid glass)
