Description: Catalyzing Sustainability.

Greenview leverages the power of data, common guidelines, best practices, and innovation to help organizations navigate and adapt to the constantly evolving landscape of sustainability and social responsibility. Information will be shared on how organizations can set strategies, develop programs, measures and report on sustainability.

Lindy Farrar is an Analyst at Greenview focusing on Environmental Research and Data, Corporate Reporting, and Sustainable Event Program development and support. She also supports a number of industry benchmarking projects including the Green Venue Report. Prior to Greenview, Lindy was a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the Office of Research and Development (ORD), where she supported the development of a National Program's Strategic Action Plan. Lindy served as the Executive Secretary of the National Science and Technology Council's (NSTC), Subcommittee on Water Availability and Quality (SWAQ), as an advisor and to assist the NSTC on policies, scientific developments, and

research needs. Lindy holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations with a focus on Global Environmental Politics from American University.

Lindy Farrar from Greenview will present the current state of sustainable events with tips on how to get started on your own sustainability journey. This includes ways to save money, engage attendees, and create meaningful partnerships. This presentation will also include trends from the most recent Green Venue Report, and what you can expect from green venues during your events.

  • Non-members: $45.00

Onsite Registration Fees:

  • Chapter Members: $50.00
  • Non-members: $60.00

After the deadline, we will gladly register you onsite; however, please make every attempt to pre-register so the Chapter can provide correct guarantee numbers to the venue. We make every effort to accommodate all onsite registrants, but if the number exceeds the capacity of the venue, we won't be able to accommodate additional onsite registrations.
