IAEE DC members are critical in shaping the future of the association and the industry, and with your help, we are confident that IAEE DC will continue to grow and influence decision makers both inside and outside of the industry.

We are eager to get to know you, and look forward to working with you toward our mission. There are several activities in which you may be interested. Please take a moment to review our committees and apply to volunteer on a committee. Should you have any questions, please contact IAEE DC Chapter Administration at iaeedc@myassociationhq.com

Committee Descriptions

Communications | Outreach (Social Media) Committee
The committee is responsible to contribute ideas, written articles or other sources of content for the chapter social media outlets including the chapter blog, website, etc. The committee works closely with Marketing Committee.

Community Service Committee
The committee is responsible to identify a local charity and/or projects for the chapter to support throughout the year. In addition, the committee works with Marketing and Communications to promote the charity through the chapter communication channels (website, social media, etc.)

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee sets the vision for and manages the overall marketing strategy. 

Nominating Committee
The nominating committee is appointed by the chair and consist of at least three active members. The committee is responsible for developing and presenting a slate of qualified candidates to the chapter. No member of the nominating committee is to be nominated for office.

Program Committee 
The committee is responsible for implementation of a number of educational program for the chapter. In addition, the committee provides logistical support including site selection, coordinating food/beverage arrangements and onsite support.

Special Events Committee
The committee is responsible for planning and executing social/networking opportunities for the chapter. Past special events/networking events have included Night at Nats Park, Bowling, Karaoke and the Reception held at Expo Expo

Sponsorship Committee
The committee is responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining the sponsorship program, which which includes promotion and solicitation of sponsorship and advertising 

Young Professionals Committee
The committee is responsible for supporting and to elevate young professionals in the industry by providing focus on the needs of those who are at the beginning of their career paths and to provide a social and professional support network
